Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction offers practical skills to cultivate a different relationship to stress. Research has shown the potential for improved resiliency, greater emotion regulation and increased focus and working memory over time.
Sessions include a variety of meditation practices, gentle mindful movement practices such as mindful walking, mindful compassion and self compassion meditation practices, reflective exercises, and discussions on stress.
Those who wish to learn skills to manage stress, and who wish to increase their overall well-being.
The workshops will be guided by Christiane Roy.
8 weekly sessions of 2 hours each, plus one orientation session for a total of 17 hours over 9 weeks.
